Starbucks, Sustainability and Livability

Joey deVilla over at “The Adventures of Accordion Guy in the 21st Century” is writing up a series of articles on “Starbucks, gentrification, and related issues”. The first post, more of a set-up I’m guessing for future comments, is called Starbucks, Sustainability and Livability. In it, Joey points to those cities with a high presence of Starbucks as being highly sustainable and livable. For more insight into Starbucks real estate strategies, readers might want to check out these posts [1], [2], [3] from John Moore over at Brand Autopsy. John shares some of his marketing insights and pulls out some points from Arthur Rubinfeld’s Built For Growth. Arthur lead much of Starbucks early retail expansion as the company grew from 100 to 3800 locations.
