One for Robert of the Radish
The new video for Windows In The Skies by U2 is out and it’s screaming for a Robert of the Radish playlist treatment. For those of you not familiar with Robert’s work over at scopecreep, he is the master of the extensive and intensively researched playlist. At times it feels like there is almost no subject or event that Robert hasn’t made a playlist about.
The latest u2 video features clips of at least a hundred “classic” artists from rock, hip-hop, jazz, blues and world music including Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Marley, Public Enemy, Elvis Costello, and the Arcade Fire to name just a few. At times it feels like a tip of the hat to the current YouTube generation and The Beatles album cover for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
The song is available on Yahoo! Music Unlimited here.
